Yeah but there's some glitches with the models that I am going to have to wrestle with. But yeah, they're amazing

hey this is Pvt. Parts from gametoast.

Just stoppin in to say this:

each side can have no more than 300 units, stably. Now, That means a blank map with nothing happening can stably run 600 units total. A big map with loads of turrets, hundred-thousands of poly's, and all the associated effects, will be rather intensive cpu/gpu wise. My point being is if you want to push for the 600 units (which I hope you do), don't hope for this to be a playable multiplayer map.

If you cut it down to 300 units total (as opposed to the aforementioned 600 total) you should have a bit more leeway..but regardless with as many poly's as your talkin about it'll be rough no matter what.

I would tell you to cut some ships, but I guess I will just say that if you want to have that number of ships, consider sacrificing the detail you 'would' put into their interiors (i.e. using the shipped models to build an interior) as the poly count will quickly go through the roof.

Just a question Train, how do comps fly out of the small rooms the ships spawn in?

Must be living Hell doing the planning for this map.

I actually wasn't planning on a whole lot of actual units. Its primarily a turret battle. You'll understand later.

A suggstion even though im no expert, mabye you should put anakin and obi-wan in but make them spawn at a seprate ship so that only they can get the jedi starfighters hmm?
