well i liked the arc the way it was
and is the V-Wing gonna be still a bpmner or are u gonna make it a interceptor??

what i hope to see are trifighters with the 3 lasercannons and missles just like in "Verena Defense" by ARcane_penguin.

Also, I really really hope that there aren't any LAAT's flying around because they are retarded.

Also, If you look in the map "Peragasus - asteroid belt" found here : Peragus_-_Astroid_Belt_v1.7z - FileFront.com
you can see the droid fighters and the arc 170s have there sweet a$$ missiles. They don't shoot straight out but start out slow, then speed up
I think those kind of missiles are necessary in all space maps

also, make the v-wings fighters and the arcs fighters with missiles because in a map this saize, you don't really need bombers (i think).

I agree, just fighters. Its boring to go after the capital ships all the time...

Stop making requests.

The V-wing is an interceptor. I already said that. 3-seat Arcs dont cause lag. There will be no LAATs. And I'm making the fighters according to the movie. Not what "looks cool" in your opinion.

I personally think mine are just as good or better (you may think otherwise when I get a hold of some pics).

And there will be no bombers, the ship turrets will take care of the heavy duty stuff.

I just thought of a potentially serious mechanics-related issue that I thought I should bring to your attention.

I understand your decision not to include bombers, but in my opinion, it's absolutely imperative that fighters are able to inflict damage upon capital ships. Here's why:

Say you're the republic and you engage the separatists. They send out about 500 fighters at you. However, if these fighters can't do any harm at all to your capital ships, what would be the point of sending out your own fighters to engage them? You'd just be giving them something to shoot at. If the fighters can't do anything to harm you, you could just move in your venators and destroy the cis capital ships with your big guns without worrying about dogfights at all. See what I'm getting at here?

In the shipped space battles, you have to use fighters to defend your own ship against being torn up by enemy bombers, while also using fighters to escort your own bombers. I'm really glad that you're adding assault turrets, and I'm also glad you're not using the V-wings as makeshift bombers, but you'll have to offset that with the fighters somehow.

Well you got a point, but in the game they do not go after you or your bombers they're just crashing into objects and they shoot at you when you are in front of them and easy to hit. I think it a shame that the enemy fighters do not chase after you...
