stop taking the piss out of my user name... cheeky sod lol wouldnt it be annoying if all the fighters have those annoying red circles 2 indicate where they are, there would be red dots all over the bloody place hehe

I haven't looked at any map for a really long time lol so I just want to ask (saves me making a thread) how do I open up .lvl files cause I made map like 2 years ago and I cant remember how.

Gah you don't open the LVL files!

You have to open Data_*** after munging with the main modtools munge and go from there.

Once you have that can you edit the Weapons types for each class, the force powers, factions, vehicles, reload/recharge time for the weapons, weapon strength (and so on) there ???

There's a way to edit LVL files. Hexedit I think. I don't know anything about the program or hexediting but I know its capabilities are limited.

Anyways, I have a conceptual update. I'm going to use the default texture for the rep ship for now and go ahead and begin the actual placement and maybe fix it when I'm near completion so I can stop stalling about this.

You CAN use hexedit to open .LVL files, but your digging your own grave. The yare incredibly hard to understand and if you don't have backups you will and I mean this WILL regret it as if you editing the game's .lvls you will screw them up, thus destroying your BF2 game.

It's about time someone made the ARCs 3person instead of 1. That always annoyed me when bf2 first came out.
