As I said, the texture porting is legal, but only between the two games AFAIK. Model porting from KotOR is not legal. Nor was that ported Kyle model/skin in the Conversion Pack with the Raxus Prime map. I assume that's what it was, anyway.

EDIT: TM, do you still have room for one more beta tester?

wait if the mod is going alot of fighters and stuff wont alot of them start crashing into the big ships during the battle. i think u should some how make them smarter

The AI don't decide where they fly. You defind a path for them to follow in ZE, so you just make the paths go around the ship so they don't fly into them.

Oh and, the side beta was for people that have helped me or are really close.

Nope, BioWare and Obsidian also own part of the KotOR world, since they created it from scratch, and they will come after you for converting their stuff. I've seen it happen many times.

Other Lucasarts games are very much a grey area. Lucasarts doesn't seem to mind now, but in the past they've been so particular as to throw out a cease-and-decist on putting Jedi Outcast stuff into Jedi Academy, and in another instance putting Jedi Knight stuff into its addon, Mysteries of the Sith. But since those instances they've had major changes in the higher-ups. EULA-wise it's still not legal, though. So to be safe I usually don't ever bother. Because every time I've seen a cease-and-decist it's never been 'take our stuff out and you can continue your mod' it's been a total shutdown of the mod.

If the 'source' versions of the files have been released (like the Jedi Outcast/Academy player models) consider it safe. Otherwise be careful. So in the case of the JKA textures, they weren't publicly release as 'source' files. Just because they're already in jpg format doesn't mean it's safe. I'm just trying to warn ya. Hate to see a good mod shut down because of a few textures.

Once again, KotOR stuff of all things is off limits. BioWare (creators of the KotOR universe) and Obsidian (expanders of it) have legal right to press charges, and will do so. If the Russian mod team gets caught it'll be shut down. That's an absolute fact.

Meh, sorry for the lack of updates. School sucks. Anyways, I just have to clean up a rifle, a vehicle weapon, a unit, and a skin and the beta SIDES is ready.
