well cherry, i am from a sniper clan withing SOF2 I snipe without cover in BFV, and have had maps with numbers as high as 30 kills, and 1 death. both of these kills that i posted i wasn't even looking for them, i was just on my way to snipe there base and ran accross them. and so i sneak up on them, and instead of wasting ammo, i just use cold steel. saves the ammo for the moving targets. lol. and i don't post these to boost my own ego. because while i am good, i am sure there are those out there that are alot better. I post the screenies here to shame my victims. maybe by doing this the will learn, and improve their game. and yes i have been caught with a knive or two in my back, and i am sure there will one day be a picture of my shameful corpse on this wall. but that is not today. so untill that day, i will continue to post.
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for using any and all weapons available (nothing grates my nerves faster than the whiners calling a weapon a noob gun). I've been known to cut now and then.
But shaming someone into better performance? With that kind of thinking I sure hope you're not a parent. While shaming can help correct bad behavior (providing it's not overdone) it has a tendancy to do just the opposite when trying to learn a new task.
More than likely you will only succeed in discouraging the player who could have developed into an outstanding player and instead cause them to abandon the game.
And for all you dolts about to say "Good ridance. One less noob to worry about", go look in the mirror (if you can reach it ) and recall that the person you see was once a noob who was just as ignorant as the noobs playing today.
the best way to learn is to get knocked around at bit at first. when parents buy their children their first bike, they (parents, and children) understand that there will be bumps, bruises, scrapes, and the odd broken bone. that is just a fact of life.
The fact of sniping is that people who are just learning, are going to take a beating at first too. posting here is just one of those bruises that comes with the learning curve. neither first time snipers, nor kids learning to ride a bike will learn anything unless they put themselves out in harms way. that also is just a fact of life.
But would you shame your child for crashing their bike the first time they ride without training wheels? You would probably help them up, dust them off, explain what they did wrong, and then put them back on to try again.
And I'm not saying to explain to a noob what he did wrong everytime you kill him. That's what clan practices are for.
If you can, kill the noob. They'll learn. But nobody should be shamed for being new and making mistakes while trying to learn.

The difference between my child, and someone who i will never talk to on the net, is i care about my child. i will never meet these people. hence, i don't care for them, as i would my child. and yes, if it was someone in my clan i would take them aside and say "look here". but someone who is a stranger, ABSOLUTLY!!!!!! and frankly, it is nice to see someone have feelings towards a total stranger. I know it is just a game, but it is a WAR game, and the only thing feelings get you in war is killed. so i am not going to stop posting, no one is gonna change my mind. enough said!
i do knife ppl in-game Ho chi minh
but the problem the wonīt to stop i run after them like 100-500m until they stop and then i kill them with knife. thatīs skills
Notice how none of these people are snipers. I knife whenever the opportunity presents itself no matter what weapon my victim is carrying. If knifing someone is going to discourage someone from playing this game it is all the better cause they only bought it for the "fad" of it, not because they love the game. In the long run the people who play the game because they love it turn out to be far better players than the fad followers. They roll with the punches and improve their game instead of crying about it and quitting.
I have to laugh at "knifers" who try to convince everyone how bad they are because they sneak up on a noob sniper and cut him. It requires no skill yet you pride yourself on the deed.
I have never been knifed while sniping because, as with real snipers, I'm always part of a team. I have someone watching my back so I can concentrate on shooting or I may watch their back while they shoot.
When you can knife me or a few others who play like me, then you'll have something to brag about. Till then it's just glory hogs trying to make a rep based on killing noobs and the terminally stupid.
(ok... I'm ready for the stfu posts and other "intelligent" responses)
lack of caffine?
