BF2142, good or flop?
 

I definately say flop.

First off all, they really had to give us a worthless singleplayer, only 5 maps with a max of 16 bots, and only on conquest, now are we happy! Also on singleplayer all bots have all unlocks and you have like - nothing.

As second, they didn't even took the time to create multiplayer as it is supposed to be, it got almsot every BF2 bug and also there are already aimbotters and wallhackers. Which were also in the demo already, but that they won't take time to protect the demo I could understand, but this just ruins it.
Apart from that, the filtering system isn't working, there is actually no such things as multiplayer Co-op which lovely EA and Dice do say it contains and way more.

Really I wish I didn't bought it....

The only good thing about this is the titan multiplayer gameplay, but that is also ruined because in every server each day there are only people who don't know what to do and they all go the wrong way, so it's pointless. Not even mentioning the auto die bug which is back again - hurray.
Also not to mention the overactive cheaters we already got, there are tons of people who are already shooting through walls....
And one thing not to mention either, the lag, dunno on what host EA and Dice are, but it's very laggy.
And not to mention that in the begin you haven't even got one grenade, just a weapon a knife and a pistol.

Post your opinions about BF2142 please!

Wow.

I've heard a lot of negative opinions lately about the game (especially the spyware and in-game ad rumor). Almost makes me want to take my pre-order back.

I hope the money I pay for it is worth it.

And about the cheaters, I'm sure they'll kick them out soon enough. If a server admin is smart enough, they'll know how to catch them and ban them.

Also, about the shooting through walls, I'll see if that's a glitch and not cheating nor part of the game.

It's not a glitch, there ARE cheaters who ARE cheating (or they use aimbot or wallhack or whatever).

And to insult them but the EA staff won't do anything about it, those (*bad word*) "admins" from EA and Dice only ban people who help them catch and report cheaters.

And server admins aren't in the game so when you say that someone is cheating they probably won't believe you.



Anyway we just need mod's soon, we need a program that makes the soldiers in SP be with more, and also to have titan mode and all 10 maps compatible with SP.

Ok .... this is a call to arms. Anyone who is able to code a game and model and do whatever else we need to do to make a great game, needs to post asap. /joke

You are going to have cheaters in EVERY GAME ... This is NOTHING new. GET OVER IT. Nothing is perfect ... I realise the game has it's drawbacks. Take it back , put up a bitch session and take it back .... Retailers have to take some responsibility for selling crap. That is why i get my games from an EB retailer in most cases. They have a return policy. I may pay more with them, but i am not stuck like the majority of the people.

I am not saying the game is perfect, but it seems like people think the problems going on are brand new to only dice.

ONCE AGAIN: NOTHING TO DO WITH EA< THEY DIDN'T DO ONE MICRO OF THE CODING.

Well I know, in every game are cheaters, but I am kinda sick of it that EA and Dice care so less about it.

Well, they do SAY they care, but when I send pictures with real proof from cheaters in BF2 (really you can see it) they just resetted me along them.

Anyway apart that I don't like EA or Dice it's still not meant to insult them.

I do kinda regret my words, apart from all the bugs I encountered so far, I found some nice servers where I didn't spotted some wallhackers or so yet, and then the game really get's cool and fair.

As though all of that, the gameplay do kicks all of those bad things away.

Havent had many servers with lagg problesm (when I do encounter them I leave)

Haven't seen any one cheating or haxing and I end up around the top on most ocasions.

Only had 1 or 2 crashes on the first day and none since.

Haven't experianced this "Instant Die" bug you refer to, what is it?

Love the vehicle/Infantry balance (hate titans raining down death on a silo constantly >_<.

Also there are Bots in Multi-player (or I have seen servers that say they have bots, havent joined as I prefer people, they were even ranked servers)

Loving the Field Unlocks which are Really easy to get (have gotten all 10 unlocks on a few occasions :)). They really encurage Teamwork by doing what your bloody squad leader tells you to do.

Great game, 100% worth the 14 bloody hours I spend on wensday trying to get it ASAP >_<.

My friend bought it and apparently you need to set up an online account to actually play (and he got no slip of spyware doom). Well he's buggered, because he doesn't have the net on his computer. :(
