LoL, I swear ive never heard so much made up bs. When I first heard about bf2142 I thought it would suck then I acctualy bought it and it was well worth it. Theres no spyware and no bug that will make the game uninstall itself its all rumors and lies.
I have played the game for over 20 hours according to X-fire , I havent yet seen any cheating or hacking of any type.I havent experienced any bugs besides the rank system taking a while to update. So far I am enjoying the game alot. The whole unlock system and ranks and the gameplay which encourages teamwork is exactly what I wanted.
Not only that but the whole spyware thing? - blown out of proportion.
I havent seen any ads in all my time playing so far...you dont even think about adverts, you just get on and enjoy the game.
Im just filling this empty space at the bottom here because it makes me anxious when it's empty. Oh god. It's okay. Relax.

Heh, I agree with all of that, but I "might" have beaten your 20 hours...just 150 points away from my big new sniper rifle.
Oh, and it's awesome. I've seen no adverts, it runs seemlessly, even on my just-above-min-spec computer (granted on low textures...but it still looks great) and it's generally very enjoyable.
Above, someone said EA arent responsible for the code. Thats wrong.
They dont code, correct however they DO have control/responsibility over what goes in. EA should say :
"look this aspect of the game is %&£$ so unless you pull you finer out your &^&* *^78, and *&£$% do it properly, we wont publish it."
They have every right to do that and it is part of "quality control". Teh reason they dont do so is because it increases turnaround time and therefore they have to wait for a large capital injection to fund another project. However, given that EA (apparently ) dont care about releasing sub-standard stuff then dice should say
" %&£$ , we've done it again - lets fix it this time guys!" .
Both EA and Dice need a lesson in economics, business strategy and possibly even morality.
RUSSIANCOMRADE : have you ever considered para-military action against their (EA/dice) offices? Are you free fridays? lol
*Phew*
I'll add one of these "signature" thingies at some point....
