I just got some more money, and I wanted to complete my BF2 collection (I own Vanilla and SF) and I was wondering if the Euro Forces and Armored Fury booster packs work like mods, or do they need to be launched separately?
Quick responses would be much appreciated, as I am going to the game store soon.
Thanks in advance

Armored Fury and Special Forces are basically addons for BF2. They aren't mods and they don't have to run separately. They add maps and in EF's case they add a new team. All you have to do is pay 10 bucks, download it, and install it. Thats it.
MAKE SURE THE FILES DON'T GET CORRUPTED DOWN THE ROAD. IT CAN BE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO FIX IT.

So all they do is add maps and a new team? I don't have to launch it separately from the desktop?

they just add more maps to bf2 and more chances to get rewards like the north american ribbon and the european medal, little warning tho,few servers/players, but fun booster pack, I bought my for $10.00 at best buy got both armor fury and european on 1 dvd
True. 20 dollars via EA Link and 10 dollars via CD (DVD is what is used). Oh and yeah.....thats basically it. Nothing fancy, new team, 6-8 new maps total, and some new rewards. Thats about it.
