How to unlock the larger map for singleplayer ?

You can't at first, but I think there may be a mod for that.

I'm sure there are mods, they might not have been made for exclusively that reason, but there are a few I've seen.

And no, you can't "Unlock" them.

BF2 was degined for MP.

well see, rommel is on the nose. It isn't a total wash with a no. There are mods that have changed the maps to a larger theme. And added new meshes for bots.

There's few mods that do this, But the only one i've found that doesn't crash allot is this one clickme. Makesure you read the readme file,
