I said it's in every game. And you have seen it, you just said you have Rarely seen it, which is still seeing it. Your post also goes on to say it's a glitch. It isn't a glitch. People are not Hopping across the screen. They are Hopping to make themselves harder targets. Please go back and read the posts again.
It wasn't about glitching.

While bunny hopping may be a part of online FPS games, there are things that can be done about it.......

I find placing a series of small pointed metal objects into their heads at about 750 meters per second works.

That is such a great solution.. Now if everyone else found it as viable as you do.

It really is not that hard (I find). If you aim at (normal) head height and shoot the bunnyhopper will either take it in the head or middle torso. Use single shot firing mode unless at very close range. If you cant hit someone because they are jumping then head back to basic. OH and there is a small bit of time just after they land in which they move slower and cant jump again for another fraction of a second. If you preempt this you can have bullets in the air so that the instant they land they get shredded.

OR use the ZOMG ALTERNATE STRATEGY :
Run up to them and place a claymore. BOOM!
or even just run away , get a tank and shell the jumping £$%&er

This is easier said than done, and in no way relates to the reality of this game. Sure this would work in something like COD, but BF2 has a serious fundemental flaw in that the game has no sense of physics. By that I mean aiming realism is very lacking in comparison to other games. Everyone has encountered how you can shoot someone point blank and nothing happens, where as you get kills when you are hardly aiming. This more than anything has done it for me regarding this game. Add someone bunny hopping and it is just useless.

Frankly this just all points to what a poor programing job they did with this game, and even more how poorly EA has supported the game they published under their name in providing what should be simple to patch. As I said earlier, they patched COD quite quickly when it became apparent than bunny hopping was disliked. I see no reason why they could not have added a cool-down between jumps. But EA does not give a *&#$, hell they have already moved on and released 2142.

It will be a cold day in hell before I purchase another game from EA/Dice.
