Hmmm, I don't think that the L85A1 is the best gun in the game. It says it is accurate, but you can't maintain a constant rate of fire without totally losing accuracy, and it doesn't do much damage. I would say it is the MP7 for the engineer, it might not be long range, but up close, it can pwn support any day.

i use the L85A1 but if i need to use it i normally keep it in singlehot and auto for close range eg capturing a base
