BF2: SF.....Pre-Load?

Never heard of this before... you can pre-download the expansion pack?

https://account.ea.com/commerce/prod...GBxCmb3ogAAKDw.

Anyone doing this? Me, I'd rather have the CD for safe keeping...

Wow, that's cool. Don't know if I'll do it or not, but I hadn't heard about that before.

As for a lack of a CD, as long as you keep all you info for that account somewhere, you shouldn't have to worry about re-downloading it if something goes wrong. Just my 2 cents. I mean it's JUST like what valve did with HL2 and all that stuff. EA just doesn't have the fancy Steam-like program.

Just remember. You need proof of purchase and you pay for replacement disk if you " lose" this one. That is what they are counting on .. Hard drive failure and so on.. Another way to Squeeze you for a few bucks.
No reason to do it just so you can be the " first to play" is that going to give you extra points for your next unlock ? Nope. Don't bother.

Hmm, wonder what marvelous copy protection system they are using to stop ppl copying it onto CD, at the moment you require the CD in the drive, may be they will have a rootkit like sony's to bork your computer, and then when you have to re-install cause its killed your CD drive you will need to buy another copy. Get the disk, it's safer.

yea I am in agreement with AK and Merrick all it will do is give you at best a few hours more to play then if you had to go out and buy it. Just get the disk otherwise EA may try to suck money outta your pockets.

Well Ak ..
It is like chaining your bike to a fence. Someone who has their bike stolen will get a bigger bolt cutter. Same difference here. A couple of programs and some skill and it works without cd/dvd. As the song says " It's all been done whoo hooo hoooo it's all been done before".

tbh..i dont like the look of bf2 SF, altho that is one of my favrite classes.

this game is suppose to be arcade like, meaning no need for team work...

but how is this suppose to function with no team work..thats the hole point of a group of SFops, they are the best, as a team...

Re: BF2: SF.....Pre-Load?

holy crap, this is gonna sound incredibly stupid but, cuz im listening to Prodigy techno, imagine playing bf2 sf with uber destructable environments like in Path of neo, and your dudes can like walk on walls and shoot and lobby shoot outs and some kung fu (nothing too crazy just like running on a wall while shooting and kicking someone ) oh damn

sry back to reality
