My thoughts, Gridley, it was an interesting little vid, but I have seen it many times before, and Phoenix_CRXsi, we are playing a game here, and ppl are dying there, and that sounds like fun to you?

Suggest you seriously re-examine your sense of values.

I want to be there because I want to fight for my country. Is there a problem with that? Yes, it sounds like fun to be in a battle, to be able to fire real weapons and use REAL teamwork, and REAL military tactics. A game just doesn't cut it, the real thing would be amazing, and like I said, I'd be fighthing for my country, and what I believe in, yes, I would consider that fun.

I'm sure most people who've fought in a war wouldnt describe it as fun.
Life changing, Life damaging, Eye opening perhaps, not fun....

That isn't fun, that is being a marine, and doing a real job. That isn't fun to anyone who has been there and done it. NOBODY who serves in the military describes it as fun. They walk on the edge of death everyday. That isn't fun, that is life threatening...
How old are you ? and maybe you should join a rifle/ gun club to have fun.
I have the utmost respect for the men and woman who are doing a job that some don't believe they should be over there for.
They are the ones that get up day in and day out protecting my freedoms and liberties to which i give thanks for everyday.
They are the ones who do not get up day in and day out, because some "child's " idea of fun, got them killed with a bullet to the brain base, their head taken off, killed by a suicide bomber, walking over a jumping susan, and so on and so forth.
FUN ? wth do you know about fun? You are sitting here in a forums posting about fun. Do you know what it is like to take a life. To look at that face day in and day out, haunting your dreams, cause you were told to do it ?
do you know what it is to see a body dismembered in untidy pieces by a frag grenade? the smell of charred flesh wafting over a breeze? Unburried bodies wasting away under hot sun? The look of shallow graves with children stuck in them ?
And this is your idea of fun?
PLEASE!!!! i beg you not to post further. Cause i think i would lose my moderatorship in this forum to put you in your place.

wow... you certainly have issues. once again, YES, i believe it would be fun to fight for your county... I'm 18 by the way, since you asked. I didn't say it would be fun to die, or to face death, I said it would be fun to FIGHT for life, and freedom. The freedom that you so clearly state you are thankful for. I never said it would be fun to see dead bodies, or to kill someone, I said it would be fun to... once again here... say it with me -- FIGHT FOR FREEDOM. Jeez you people take things way too personally. I WANT TO GO TO WAR, I WANT TO JOIN THE MILITARY, but I can't because of my record, so whatever. Many other people want to join the military, and if it wasn't for people like me, WE WOULDN'T HAVE AN ARMY, we wouldn't have people out there fighting for the freedom that you are "thankful" for. It's thanks to people like me that people like you even HAVE freedom, because without people like me, there would BE no more freedom for people like you to be thankful for, because no one would be willing to fight for it. Think about THAT before you post again, moderator or not.

I have thought about that ... And people like you in military are the reason why the good people get killed.
Those who think it is fun to run around helter skelter.
People who join the military know it is a job... NOT FUN.

WTH DO YOU THINK WAR IS ? WHAT DO YOU THINK A FIGHT IS ?
obviously you think it is fun. so the whole aspect of war to you ( say it with me boys and girls )is fun
Do you think you won't see dead bodies?( fun)
Do you think you won't be shot at ?( more fun)
do you think you won't die?( damn what a grand party and more fun)
Yes death is the grandest of all adventures so suredly that must be fun.

There is nobody in the military like you, they are all disciplined and understand what it is to do the job that they have set forth. and going out on ops, most assuredly is not described by them as fun.

Leave real war with those that can handle it. You by your own admissions have already said you don't know right from wrong so you (even at your advanced age of 18 years young ) have no idea what-so-ever what it is to have fun.

why don't you think on that for abit.

** ZARGO ** i would have left that post . You were right on target.
