Also something weired happend on Wake:

Just wanted some clarification on this. I have not seen this happen before and I have been playing since launch and demo days.

Earlier today, I was playing on Wake, I destroyed the Chinese artillery at the start of the round. Then, I captured the airfield flag. After some minutes had passed, a single artillery gun was repaired, and all 3 of them showed up as being US controlled, in addition to the 3 on the middle island. It even showed up as team vehicle damage when I put a single c4 on it. Unless I am mistaken on prepatch, the commander always retained his artillery, and putting c4 on the enemy artillery was the only way to neutralize it. I have never seen artillery captured before when the flag turned.

I do not remember this happening on any other prepatch map. Have I overlooked this since BF2 release, is it a Wake only thing, or has 1.03 added this to all maps? Or is it a glich, or my imagination.

PS:
I was on the US team the entire time.

I do remember in the demo being able to "confiscate" enemy artillery by controlling the base it is located in. I thought it was an awesome idea, distinguishing certain bases as more important than others. When the game was released, it was no longer the case. Have you noticed this feature returned in the full version 1.03?

What about detonating mines/claymores with explosives, does this work now?

You must be mistaken, this had never happened. Besides, which "base" does the US arty on Oman "belong" to?

As far as the rest of the post, i don't know. Haven't played the Wake map that often

It seems I was mistaken. Must have been retroactive wishful thinking. :p

I do know that AT mines will be destroyed by things exploding around them. I threw 2 AT mines next to a jeep and an enemy jump in the jeep so I shot it with a tank round and when the jeep made the final explosion, the mines blew up. I think it is pretty cool.

yea, tha same thing happens with c4, if u put it on a car or vehicle when the vehicle explodes the c4 goes with it, without manual detonation. thats why when i suicide bomb i throw all 5 c4 on the front of my car then drive in front of a tank and just sit there until he shoots the car. than all of the c4 goes off, and BOOM. bye bye tank / apc! its alot of fun
