As of right now, no. Ea said it would be possible but I would ruin the mod since it is ment for fun.

EA said they might introduce stat tracking for mods later on, they say this about alot of things that never end happening in the end though. Weapon unlocks and stuff like that most likely not.

The devs are saying that even if it is possible for servers to track stats and such, which would be sweet, they won't be adding any unlockable content. They have all that set in the form of pick-up kits.

If you would have wanted to know, you would have posted on the FH forums, where this question has been raized more then several dozen times and everytime the devs (and majority of the community) said "no"

Well, it's a system that has worked great so far. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Unfortunately for BF2, many things are broke, but that's nothing that a little elbow grease (and some programming background) won't fix!

About unlockable kits in FH:

The only "unlockable" system they are planning to have in place is that certain weapons will be only available to players if they join a squad. These will probably include heavy machine guns, AT weapons, and specialty classes like medics.
