Good for you that it works, but it`s not up to a game to tell me which keys to use.

What bugs me is they changed some of the basic key mapping from BF42...why, man, why? Wouldn't be a deal if it was customizable, like it supposes to be.

Yes, but it's also not upto you to call a game "dead" just cause you can't get your keys setup (btw, ever tried editing the contro.con file directly? There are quite a few posts explaining exactly how to code any key directly in that file)

Like what? Oh wait, you don't even have the game yet (or did you finally download the demo?). The only thing that i can think of that's different is the swapping of F-keys for positions in vehicles, instead of numbers keys. But what's the problem there? Just remap them back. I've got my controls setup exactly like in BF42.

AK amazing post. Yesss. Oh and to everyone complaining heres my opinion.

If you dont like the game then fine dont play it if you come to the forums and say you dont like the game and give valid reasons and or constructive criticism fine. Buit If you say you hate the game then say it 5 times more your becoming stupid. Fine you dont like it it's buggy thats your opinion stop playing but save us the time by not continuing to post on stupids comments saying this game sucks and so on and so forth. There is a percentage of the community that will always hate a game fine I understand that but stop being a thorn in everyone elses sides and stop trying to convert people to your view upon the game. If youve ever noticed the majority of the community disagrees with you. And spare me the speechs considering at least over 300,000 people have the game (Considering that hlaf a million are signed up and we will assume a certain number have more than one account) so mabey lets say the 15 people on these forums complkaining are that absolutely minute percentage. The rest of us are admitted fan boi, moderator, or people who want to express differing opinions and are not fan boi ish or complaining that the game had one hickup.

My opinion on this new expansion is knida mixed. I must admit the concept of a new expasion so quick is a little anbnoying to me consdiering I just bought the game but the expasion itself looks amazing. The screens right now dont seem to really do that much but the grappling hooks and ziplines look like they will be really nice. its just that im owrried that now everyone will be fighting ontop of rooftops and that vehicles will just get blwon awa by mines and missles from areas they cant shoot at. It also feels as if the game kinda left battlefield and went to a mix of soldner and AA:SF. This is not my final opinion sicne ive only seen like 7 pictures and read an article about it. I will save my final opinion for the end result. But i must say I do want to see if other modders can pull this off. It is of course possible on the BF2 engine and I havent seen anything expansion packs can do that mods can't per say. Im guessing that the grappling hook and ziplines use something like the removed helicopter zipline. But hopefully this will all sort out easily enough. Im just affraid that all these new features will destabilize the game and I am a little hesitant about the same studio making this exp pack was the same that made BFV but I will have this expansion pack no doubt even if it is just to try it out.

Getting tired of your attitude... FYI I had the demo the day it came out. And if he wants to call it dead, what's it to you? It's dead to him. You need to learn to respect the rights of others to have opinions, whether you agree or not.

If you boys don't like the views expressed here, don't read the posts. If you disagree with someone, make valid arguments, not angry comebacks. Don't get personal. We all are here because we love gaming and gaming is supposed to be fun.

well why don't you find out what he did to change the .con file, then you can designate any keys you want. i never had a problem assigning keys.

Hmm, this sounds fun. I just hope that they have a demo for it that way we can try and judge it for ourselves, but the likelyhood is unlikely: but then again SW had a x-pack. I'll buy it. I don't think the grapples will work well though... People will know where they are and kill the sniper: but it gives him time to look so let's see how this will work out.
