Flawed Ranking System!

I've spent hours apon hours since BF2's release killing, maiming and outright causing terror across the countryside in various battles in-game. I've done wonderful things, died my fair share of times, played almost exclusively on ranked servers...and what is my reward? NOTHING! Now, at first I wasn't to upset cause I did have stats, and was close to Lance Corporal (My rank IRL, ironically. Definately overrated). My progress meter had about a 10th of an inch to go...to custom weapons I go! Yes! But then to my personal dismay, after playing for an additional hour gaining more experiance (so I thought) I went to check BFHQ again and POOF! stats gone. But wait, whats this? The medals are still there, but yet, no experiance, nothing, nada! END THE MADNESS EA! GRRRAAAHH!!!
That is all I have to say.

I feel your pain. The same thing happened to me.

Apparently EA didn't anticipate the amount of stats it had to handle so now stats are updated every 12 hours. Check back tommorow and it'll all be updated.

Umm, then how come some badges I earned after some medals appear, but the medals aren't? Ea f'ed up big with this one. Hype up a ranking system. Laggy to play. Stats are bugged. Sweet. Also it says i have 2 knife kills. I got 2 my first game. I have at least 10 since then and its been a good 4 days.

My f*cking stats were wiped. My medals remained but now I'm back to private and i have apparently 0 points, 0 hours playing time, 0 kills etc

I'm just hoping they'll reappear. Now everytime I play it comes up with you have achieved private first class when i did that ages ago.

I'm f*cking pissed off at the moment.

many people are suffering from this including me I even lost my ribbons (6) aswell as my stats.

......... EA screwed up big time on this

btw I just got lance corporal when mine were wiped believe me it's not that great (all the locked weapons aside from the snipers suck).

Also, off topic how easy is the gold star medal to get. I got 6 of them in 3 days

Yeah, and the stats should come back. Like DeathHawk, It says you've played for 21 hours. So, no worries, I should think.

My statistical difficulties are singular and inconclusive. Everything was working perfectly, progression steady, a few medals won... Until suddenly, I disconnected from one of the WestCoast Ranked EA servers to check out my newly earned Special Forces Badge only to discover that it was MIA. In fact it is the ONLY Badge, Medal or statistic that has yet to appear to date, as all other earning had been recorded. I earned that Special Forces Badge the FIRST DAY I purchased this game (Release date).

I'm sorry to hear that there has been Semi-Permanent to Permanent loss of statistic advances, but this is almost imaginably more irratating, for had my stats been wiped clean i'd at the least have the option to take solice in that creation of a new online account might be my best alternative (especially now with the first release of EA's patch).

Unfortunately, the amount of time spent with this account paired with my newly garnered knowledge regarding point/rank levels (insane) has me rather worried that I may never see it, and that I will remain at a disadvantage for rank progression and commander selections in-game. Completely let alone contacting EA by any means due to the general response i'm sure to receive, "-are assumed not lost... ".

As I sit now, I have all the other Basic Class Badges. I can't help but think i'm missing out or going to be, in some unseen attribution.
