I unlocked the m95 because whenever i play as the MEC or China i HATE their sniper rifles because they are not as powerful and not as accurate as the m95 and it takes FOREVER to kill the enemy.

Technically no, Im not cheating, I work 40 hours a week and having to go to 10 000 points is rediculous to unlock all the weapons. Hey its not my fault EA was stupid enough to leave the ranked server logs open for editing...

My absolute weapon 'wet dream' would come true if there was an FN FAL. What a piece of work! The Brits and Canadian Army ( Im Canadian ) Used to use it before they switched to the 'Enfield' ( Brits ) and the C-6 ( Exact replica of M16A2 ). Another great, but unpopular weapon is the AR-10 which looks like the M-16A2's big brother. It in fact was compeating with M-16 pre-Vietnam

I unlocked the L85A1 for the medic and its pretty good if your pinned down or on defense, however I recently have been playing Strike on Karakand with the MEC with the AK and I chuck a bunch of nades then run up in their face and AK the hell out of em. I got like 44 kills so even though it can be tempting to use unlocked, stick with the gun your best at. Here is my opinion; I play medic the most so I upgraded my weapon but I don't like it that much. Next I think I will either upgrade the Anti tank or the Spec ops. But the more I think about it the more I consider how sucky the anti tank machine gun is. If i upgraded to shotgun I think anti tank would be most lethal. Help me out guys next upgrade (my second one) anti tank or spec ops over all?????????

I got the M95 :naughty: . It's pretty accurate, and will kill a guy with full health in two body shots(but most of mine are head shots :0wned: ) That thing can really camp a airfield. the one time I did camp a airbase, I got five headshots to the pilots takin off. They finally noticed someone was shootin them and spawned behind me. I'm gonna get the G3 next, because I either play assualt or Sniper.

I've unlocked the medic gun and I'm not to happy about it.
They say it's very accurate but it seems it lacks range.
For far away target's it seems useless.

i havent unlocked anything yet, but when i do i want it to be the SA-80, because its the british armys standard assault rifle and i'm british!! and then it would be the special forces

I unlocked the spec-ops G36c because i usually play with that kit. I kinda regret that because M4s and AK74Us red dot sights are way more accurate and they give much better visibility.
I should had chosen either M95 or G3. Or maybe even L85.

I got the G36 as well and I love it. It is superior to the M4 and ak74u. More accurate, faster fire rate, and more damage. If you like playing as special forces its the weapon to use. Antikiller is right tho, its visibility is less than the m4 and ak74. At close range to midrange this weapon is simply badass. At long range, single shots are incredibly accurate.

grr I dont know. Its sucha big decision because it takes an eternity to upgrade to next rank and I play all the time. Stripped down to the basics. Like the kit that would get the most kills period. The funny thing is... even with the G36c unlocked... im stilled best with the good ol ak. I get most of my kills as the mec or chinese medic.

What kit do you play the most? And how many points do you need until you can unlock your first weapon? Or do you have to reach your first rank?

its your first rank. Thanks I'm definiately getting the shotgun, and yeah you guys are exactly right. The l8 scope is like worthless what a stupid scope its like a hair pin. Most of my kills are strike at karakand forward base medic with AK. Thats the quickest way to rack up points and all. So yeah AK with medic. Sometimes sucide missions with nades work as well. Question: For the explosive badge is it only with c4 or can you use mines and claymores?

Well, grenades and claymores are explosives, as are C4's. So I guess it doesn't matter, but I'd use C4, just to make sure. Oh, and my the next rank up for me is Private First Class, do I get to unlock a weapon then, or do I have to wait for the next rank?

I think you have to wait until your are a Lance Corporal. I made it to Lance Corporal and that's when I finally got the option to unlock a weapon.

To get explosives you can use AT mines, C4, or claymores. You need 15 kills in one round to do it.

I unlocked the L85A1 because it is very accurate. I also like the med. kit because it is awesome for getting points, sometimes up to 40 Teamwork points in one round if it is in a map like Strike on Karkand(sp?).

If I had the choice, I'd get the 50 Cal M92. That thing is the only decent sniping rifle and it's fun to use in Oman.
Second choice would be the G3. For the lack of ammo, it sure is the most powerful assault.
That's bout it really. I cant stand the jackhammer: the G36's power is weak and the RPD is a waste (It's a bunch of crap: the nations normal assaults are better then it, look at the M249.) and that bad shotgun replacement for AT instead of a nice MP5... I don't want to have a ultra-crappy gun EA!

I unlocked the Barret 50.cal M92 thing.

I love sniping, but was dissapointed to find that in BFHQ's description, it says "Damage: Very High", whereas the default US sniper rifle says "Damage: High" but both still take 2 shots to kill an enemy.

I think though, that the barret can shoot through helicopter cockpit glass etc, killing the pilot or driver.

I wish i'd chosed the G36C or whatever (the spec. forces one)

i went for the DAO-12 and glad i did, the thing kicks ass(until you meet some bunnyhopping reatard at least)

Next on my list though is the L85A1. After taking one from a dead medics hands I can't wait to unlock it.:)

Yeah, it can. One time, I was in a blackhawk waiting for passegers, an I got sniped through the glass. That kind of pissed me off, so I found the sniper and shockpaddled him.

And I think it does do more damage, but still not enough for a 1 shot kill, for some reason...

I unlocked the L85A1 but I find it slithgly dissapointing. Sometimes I feel that the AK-101 is much more accurate and more powerful than iut. Oh and from your experiences everyone what is better to get the G36C or the M95? (its not M92 I think you folks are mixing the M82 and the M95 the M82 is a .50 cal but it is a semi auto rifle) So what do you suggest? The M95 or G36C? Oh and I dont really want the unlockable gun for anything else ATM.

Ah yea and the Damage of the M95 is kinda confusing. A single shot to the chest of someone may not kill them but it lowers their health to the point of you only having 1 little sliver of health left. It is a very good weapon I guess for maps when most people have already taken a little damage so thus you can make 1 hit kills.

I unlocked the L85A1 cas i always play as a Medic and the scope rawkz and its so damn accurate!... The next weapon will be the sniper.

Got the G36C Spec Ops in an error of stoned judgement. It's an OK weapon, but I was expecting a laser scope like the other Spec Ops kits, and the standard scope and average accuracy were kind of a dissapointment. Oh well, only 19,000 more points until the next unlock?!

I unlocked the L85. Also Psyichic I definatley think the AK101 is the most accurate and deadly weapon in BF2. Its just such an amazing weapon, no one stands a chance against it. The L85 redresses this I think anyway because AK-101 > M16

hmmmm yes. And your right ive learned how to use the L85 a bit better now its just a trick to getting its accuracy correct I feel. It seems to me like its sometimes harder to rember to lie down when you have a scope but yea the AK-101 seems to compeltely rule over all the poor little M16s.

the m16 r alot weaker then the ak101 and ak47, look it up it the bf2 book thing at stores, it said the m16 does 30 damage, ak101 does 37 and the ak47 does 38

yet the accuracy seems all the same...... I feel that the AK-101 and AK47 should be pretty much shit at long distance. So why do the M16s have to be so crappy? Why not give the US the XM8 then. I mean by the time the games storyline roles around the USA should have implemented the guns. So just give em those and then equalize everything (considering the AK-101 and XM8 use the same cartridge I think)

the heckler & koch G3 dosen't use .30cal ammo it uses 7.62mm NATO ammo

I got the G36C - wished it was the full battle rifle with the dual scope rather than the Commando version (guess I just have to wait for BF2:Special Forces for it. I Love the G36) - I don't know why people keep saying it isn't accurate with the iron sights cause I find it REALLY accurate. The only major flaw is it's range, but seen as it is a short carbine that's really inherent in the gun.

Thinking about getting the M95 sniper kit next. How often do unlocks come around - is it every 1000 or is it with each promotion? Can I get any news on that?

I got the medic gun, but I can't decide if I should get the PKM or G3. And I am a Lance Corporal, is next rank one where you get another unlock? I hope so because it has taken me 1 weeks playing nearly all night just to get 1/3 to the next rank! -_-

How is the accuracy and slope of the M95 compared to the M24? I care more about accuracy then fast firing or anything else. Hey its its accurate all you need is 1 shot to kill :D

In other words its not worth it. One shot to the head with the m24 does it. The only reason why you would want the bugger is if you snipe all the time and get stuck on the mex or chinese teams where the rifles just suck.
