201st Clan. Avoid them.
 

I went to play on a public open server, 201st clan's, and these guys are not very mature, nor secure in themselves. When I got there the teams were stacked 10 to 6, the server was capped at 16 they said the teams would even out...then if anyone said anything they were a whiner or a complainer. After that a few maps later, when they did, to thier credit up the server size to 24, some guy asked about the 90 second respawn, he said it in an off hand manner, such as "I'm just curious but why the respawn time." and two or three of the clan memebers bad mouthed him and told him not to ask questions or he'd be kicked. So i said "Jesus, he just asked, he wasn't complaining, maybe he's just wanting to know the reasoning." Then some FLT Collins guy told me I had a bad attitude and banned me. Irony. Needless to say it's their server and they can do as they wish, but I'll never play in a clan match verse them nor support them. It pisses me off that not only do people have poor sportsmanship, but they cry and try to be the victim as well. I say boo to them. They made their whole clan look bad to indulge the fact they have small dicks. Great job! I doubt any league will pick up BF:1942 for comp, but if they do I hope they consider sportsmanship. I'm sick of socially retarded peterfucks ego wanking...oh, and we were winning. ;)

ok.... Not to defend them, but I play on the 201st server A LOT. And if you join, right at the very beginning, in the MoTD, it tells there is a 90 second spawn time, dont ask about it, and dont complain, because in about a week of playing on that server IT IS THE ONLY THING ASKED EVERY 20 SECONDS... It does get anoying that people cant read.

But, on the other hand, I have had mostly bad experiances with admins. Most of the time, just cause I like to smack talk Ill get banned from servers (Not cursing, but just not giving in.) If Im winning, Ill talk trash. And Its my right, Im winning, So thats why I have 6 CD keys for CS. It REALLY pisses of admins when you just come back on once theyve banned you.

I have no complaints about the 90 second spawn, except when the server is small then it's a sure win for one side. The guy who asked asked once, and he said it as if he wanted to really know, not in anger or mockingly. And who cares if it's on their site, in the MoTD or stenciled on their asses, the guy just asked a question and they all proceeded to talk shit to him and then ego wanked for a couple of minutes over it. I said something because I thought they were being dickheads, the guy who asked was playing and doing a good job, it's just 90 seconds gives you time to talk... ;) I won't play there any more, I used to play once a night on there, but that experience soured me and if I do join a clan I'll make sure we have nothing to do with them. I was just complaining about poor sportsmenship in general, that set me off is all. :) Everyone gets mad or frustrated it happens, but these people were being dicks by default and just because "they can."

I think I checked out that server last night, I also went onto a server with 16 players and two players had "ADMIN" at the end of their handles- like they want everyone to know they're admins. I don't give two flying rat's crap about that, but what I do give a crap about is when I want to go on a public server (like their's), and just play, play with the vehicles (like the submarine), and they start nagging the other players to go help the team cap flags, I was in a sub going for the enemy battleship and one of the admin guys goes "come back on the island and help us!" and then he he adds "or be kicked". What's with people excepting clan-type teamplay on a PUBLIC server? I left the server of course. I just want to go on a public server and get into a tank and shoot other tanks or go around the map looking for enemies to cap, and I'll cap flags if I'm near one, isn't that what public servers are for?

ok im not too polished on bf yet but when someone is logged in as an admin and has full use of console does their name actually say ADMIN? thats my one question for the one guy.... and if 2 guys are running around logged as admins its gay imo play somewhere else
