What Have THey Done TO Desert Combat!!! The NEW PATCH> :furious: WTF have they done to DESERTCOMBAT? sniper rifle is screwed At a distance sights dont work, I used up all my clips on motionless targets tried many different sight positions and not ONE kill!!! Heavy machine gun overheats! Can't touch any choppers with it anymore. overheating makes u a sitting duck! Lastly C'mon guys we all know stingers are one shot, give em 1 rocket-per use and at least 90% damage on a copter or plane. Be reasonable... Make a MOD that will outlast the original game keep it fun, Verant did the same OVERBALANCE thing with Everquest. COME ON GUYS toooo much game balance destroys gameplay!!!:mad: |
Re: What Have THey Done TO Desert Combat!!! I agree DC was whipped alittle too much The Iraqi sniper rifle is much more accurate then the American rifle. Nothing else is accurate at all. When they tweak the reticules too open like that it takes no skill at all only luck. Makes the game unbearable to play. |

I completly agree with Zab. I played Omaha Beach with bots and i was getting sniper kills like nothing else. They also gave everything realistic damage. |

BEFORE YOU EVER BICKER ABOUT NOT HITTING ANYTHING WITH ANY GUN CONSIDER THIS the m16a2 rifle is SINGLE SHOT OR BURST weapon system!!!!!!!!!! meaning IF YOU USE A SINGEL SHOT OR BURST OF THREE SHOTS YOULL MORE THAN LIKEY HIT THE TARGET YOUR AIMING AFTER! DONT EXPECT A DAMN RIFLE SUCH AS THAT TO HIT AN AIRPLANE AND BRING IT DOWN! EXPECT IT TO DO DAAGE BUT NOT CAUSE SUCH DAMAGE FOR THE PILOT TO EJECT!!!! THE S.A.W IS NOT A FULLY AUTOMATIC WEAPON!!!!!! DONT CONSTANTLY HOLD YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER YOULL JUST MAKE IT WORSE! THE AMERICAN SNIPER RIFLE IS JUST FINE JUST DO NOT THINK HITTING A TARGET WITH THE MIDDLE OF THE SIGHT ON IT IS GONNA HIT USE THE DOT RIGHT ABOVE IT THEN FIRE INSTANT KILL JUST READ A DAMN BOOK ABOUT THESE GUNS AND FIGURE IT OUT OR IF YOU PREFERR PLAYING FOR THE AMERICANS JUST KILL THE IRAQI AND TAKE HIS DAMN GUN!!! |

And who pulled this thread out of the black hole at the bottom of the forums, I thought it had died long ago :lol: Ah, of course it was YOU wasn't it Magnum_Fire, the first 7 posts were all 4 weeks ago! And YOU had to bump it back to the top from the scrap heap where it belonged. Well ver .5 will be out soon and we will have another round of bitching about the changes to DC all over again, you can't please everybody, the minute they change something ppl complain cause it is different, but once they get used it they are usually happy.
