Ok, my spawn point is on a Destroyer. I jump into a landing craft/boat.
Run at full speed to the nearest shore and onto it.
Now....i want to jump out of the boat....quickly..got some enemies to take care off...
BUT, i juse the jump button, and it takes me maybe 10 or 15 jumps to get out of this f****ng boat!!
Is it just my machine that is lagging, or is thee a simpler way??
Hehe, i was afraid i would get alot of shit for such a 'dumbass' question'. But thanks for the answer.
Now i can easely get off that landing craft so i can run up that hill and get shot alot faster then before!
I had the same problem and wanted to ask the same question. Thanks for your reply Vanthem.
One further question on this same topic. I redefined my keys and made my arrow keys my movement keys, so obviously when I press up or down, I move forwards and backwards. In the default settings, what does up and down do?
<lowers his voice> Don't tell anyone, Jada, but when I first got the demo, I kept trying to hop out of the boat too until I saw someone lower the ramp, which prompted me to utter the question, "How do I lower the ramp?"
Hey, thanks, Chief. <puts on a frilly white shirt while he's at it>
If you only changed the up & down arrow keys for infantry, Tack, I don't think you've changed much. They only really get any use with the boats or planes and that shouldn't be affected by altering infantry binds.

Oh. I think I understand now. While I'm still behind the wheel of the craft is when I press down to lower it. I was thinking that while I need to press down while I was infantry.
