Well, not exactly Ahh yes, the sacred event of ones first boat landing. I remember it well.. I sped away from the japanese carrier with my trusty landing boat, heading for the closest shore. Little did I know, unspeakable evil lurked ahead.. evil that could taint a mans soul from the mere mention.. *coughs* ..Anyway, I landed on the beach and scurried from one end of the boat to the other trying to escape, but alas, some american blew me into fishfood with the defgun. In life where I failed, I succeeded in death (thousands of times if you count all the pieces) Thanks for what Vanthem? |
I didn't say you. I said Chief. Honest. @_@ <quietly thanks the heavens for 'edit'> I was actually pretty good at leaping over the side, but sometimes the game just flat out said "nope" and you'd sit there hopping around like a freak for a minute, hoping the enemy was on a coffee break. :p |
Np Ahh alright, so'k. That's a very common typo, actually. :frog: |
/me hugs HostageOw, no problem dude :) There's nothing like sailing to teh beach in a landingsboat and then storming that same beach with 6 axis soldiers. I had that once, we managed to capture and hold the first two points. Great stuff. Wait there is something even better than that: using the defgun to blow up a boat filled with 6 soldiers as they try to approach the beach :D /me grins sadistically and taps his hand against the barrel of his trusty defgun ;) |
I've tried pressing up and down from all positions on the boat and the damn thing STILL won't open! |
Did you guys try the Hatch up/Hatch down binds.... hmmm, may help. |
What about this......... Can you kill an enemy by lowering the ramp upon him? |
You have to be driving the landing craft. Just hold the up arrow key to lower the ramp. If that isn't working, you've changed your bind for it and will have to look in your controls to rebind it. |
/me hands Vanthem a cool glas of water. Don't you ever get a dry soar throat of all that talking? :D |
