Just got the 1.4 patch...
 

and the only sound I hear is my weapon firing. I have hardware acceleration off, 44mhz & 22 channels. This is the same set up I've had since the beginning. I have MC 4.0 installed and unchecked the bloodfx. It seems to be working fine except for the sound. Has anyone else had this problem? :confused:

i get it sometimes were my whole sounds just disopears

What kind of sound card do you have? Try turning HA on, and then lowering the quality. See if that helps.

I have a SB Live! 5.1 X-gamer.
I've tried it every which way. HA on, HA off, lower sound quality, etc. I'm not overly concerned with it yet, this is the first problem I've had with it. Maybe I'll try it without MC and see if that does anything...man, I'd had to lose MC!
