Hi DeathPhantom,

I assume you are talking about a heli? It's complicated, but first you need a joystick, it's easier than keyboard and mouse. But get back to me with more info and we will go from there.

have fun

get a joystick. i could not even get the mod to work it would just crash to desktop

CyKoTiC May 8th, 2003 06:37 PM

heck, you dont need a joystick....i mastered it with mouse and keybored and its not that hard at all so just try it its pretty easy.

Cykotic's a dirty liar. Although after a bit of practice today I can at least ferry people around in a chopper pretty regularly (not everytime mind you, but I've only had an hour of practice or so), do dropoffs and pickups, that kind of thing. God help me if I have to defend myself though, heh. This is in Desert Combat of course.

no u dont need a joystick. its simply prefernance. some ppl find it easier to fly with one and some without.

It isn' t that difficult. Even with the keyboard you have to keep preessing the "W" key and with some times, for one or two seconds, press the arrows to derect the heli: forward to go forward, left to go left... and after a day you'll be able to fly a heli better then a pilot of a Uh-60 in Vietnam! I must confess you that the Chinhook(EoD's heli) it's more difficult, so you should begin with the Black Hawk of Desert Combat, then continue with the Apache, also in DC, and then you should be ready for the Chinhook! Good luck capitan!:cya:

i anit a liar. i can fly fine with mouse and keybored its landing thats hard. but flying and shooting stuff is no prob.

apocalypse_kid May 10th, 2003 08:49 PM

That's a problem with the mouse and keyboard, landing requires a throttle control to get down without going BOOM! Most halfway decent joysticks have throttle control.

Have fun
