Bloody hell what's all that about then? Sitting by the planes shooting at your teammates becasue they got in a plane before you and what did you do? You threw grenades at him idiot and then there are five or six people doing the same thing and it becomes a major battle and it's on the EAUK servers so the TK is turned off and you still do it and in the meantime the enemy have managed to get artillery setup in your hangar and no-one stands a chance of enjoying the game and all I can say is that you're sad, selfish bast's and I have to just leave in disgust and I think you all need to be taken away from BF1942 and tied up in a very large field while planes land on your heads and why do you do that and what is the point and how sad can you be that you don't get bored of it after 2 minutes and play the game and why is there noone on the EA servers to boot idiots like that and why is it that I've ranted so long that I really need to take a breath and why am I going a pastey pale colour and why am I going a bit dizzy and my voice is failing and why is it that there are odd patterns in fron tof my eyes and wh....................

I hear ya. Plane campers are so annoying. It used to be funny when the game first came out, but come on guys, you don't have to spend the entire time flying. If you want to do that go buy Combat Flight Sim 3. Just because you want to fly a plane doesn't mean you'll get one. If flying means that much to you set up a co-op custom game with bots and fly all you want and don't waste other peoples time and fun.

I counted 17 plane campers on gazala once. I was gonna tk them all with a tank, but the guy with the chopper took care of them all for me, over and over. His kill score was like 170 for killing idiots who KEPT WAITING FOR PLANES ignoring the planes and now tanks bombing the spawn. 17 plane campers on a team with 22 people.......hhmm..

yeah that is so true. what everone needs to do is shoot the planes berfore the campers can get to them. the object of the game is to CAPTURE THE FLAG not be a stupid ass punk b i t c h waiting for a plane

If you have many plane campers on your team do the following:

push k and type 'In need of enemy air support'
push k and then type '14 Plane Campers on our airfield'


That solves the situation. Repeat if necc.

I hate those planecampers. The most stupid planecamper comment must be: "Hey, that was my plane!". Then they waste your plane. What do they accomplish by doing that? And when they finally get up in the air they instantly crash into the nearest tree or building, bomb their teammates or get shot down by an enemy planecamper... :uhoh:

It's mostly not the plane campers that shoot the planes. It's the vigilante plane camper haters that get in the tanks and blow up all the vehicles and all the planes. I don't mind the plane campers as much as the killer tanks. I think they should be banned from this game for life. Who cares what the plane campers are doing if they're not shooting my vehicle. The killer tanks are the real problem and they're probably the same the people that post in this thread. Beware, one day there will be reckoning for all.

What I really found amusing was the guy in the middle. (Audie Murphy) I recognize him from my wolfenstein days.

who wanted the plane i was about to enter.
ticked me off. so stupidly i jumped on the 50cal
in the halftrack and wasted him.
i got kick from server.

Yea, I didnt mean to give Audie a bad name. Quite the opposite, when I used to play with him at wolf he was always a medic or sniper, and always one of the best players on the team. I hated playin against him because he'd usually frag my ass 4 to 1 if I was lucky. I think I even saw him post on this forum once before.

As for the heli situation, I feel for you but get in line. No one is willing to admit they suck at flyin even if they crash 5 seconds after takeoff. They just get back in line. *sigh* Maybe thats where bein in a clan would be nice if you got an assigned position. I however, hate the idea of bein clanned but thats just me. The most fun Ive had flying lately has been on smaller servers with 10-15 players. It gives a little room for the pilots, tank drivers and foot soldiers to all do their thing and have a good time.

I love it when they camp and i watch my kill ratio go up to 5 or 10 kills because of plane campers.

The last game I was on, there where 8 people waiting for planes. Imagine if 4 were assault, 1 medic, and 3 anti-armor. That group could have easily taken on the enemy with some armored support. WTF do people just stand around and get bombed like that for, half of them don't do shit anyways!:spank:
