I have 1024 installed (Memory) and its saying that only 750 is free of it. How do i get it so i am using all the memory?

As most of you know, i dont know much about comps. Anyways if you have any info about it please share.

Thanks

Re: Memory

I would have to say to turn off some of your Windows services. There are many that you do not need or you can manually turn on. I found this out from TechTV...You can go to blackviper.com to find out which services you can opt out or change to free up your memory. Let me know if this works for you.

I totally agree about shuting down every service you can. There are utilities that'll do it for you, but it's alot better to do it yourself. The Black Viper site is the best resource for doing just that.

If you're running Windoze XP you can figure at least 128 megs of that is being used to run Windoze, maybe even more.

Re: Memory

You can turn off AA and AF, that will let you run the graphics on high, but a 9600 won't handle AA and AF on max.
