A long time ago I played a map, can't remember the name of it right off, and I captured the flag. I was running down a hill and a tank round went off right next to me. The tank was far away while shooting at me. I went flying in the air and assumed I was going to die because I don't usually survive those. I saw I was coming down near an airplane so I held down the "E" key just in case, sure enough, I landed in the plane, took off, bombed the tank and made it back with the flag.

haha, that's great, getting blown into a plane only to bomb the one who blew you there, thats irony for you. I'll try that sometime

Ok, I'll start out with a lame story.

Coral Sea (back when i was a n00b, but i still find it awesome)
I was stranded on one of the middle islands, i was having some good teamwork with this one guy, called for a pick up..i was running to get to the top of the hill. Saw my buddy fly low, BAM! Jumped in, it was an awesome experience, cuz it was a first.

Berlin (lame but o well)
Beginning of the round. I was German, spawned on the North East flag. Whipped out the nade. Threw it...WABAM! 6 seconds into the round, 3 people dead! I ended up #1 in server with like 35-45 points, 10-15 more than the person in #2. All i did was nade (about 4-6 killed w/ a nade) and the rest were all snipes

Stalingrad (my favorite!)
Some bastard was chasing me. I was top of one of the buildings climbing the stairs, i was an engineer. I was totally "Aw, f%*k that!!!". So i threw down a C4, JUMPED OUT the window, then BAM! blew that crap up! Killed the guy.....and me (cratered):P

Oh well, i have some really good experiences but I play too much BF to remember the good ones (i mostly remember the stuff when i first started playing)

BTW AWESOME STORY DIGITAL DEATH!!!

I'm Adam

My friend and I were playing coop on BFVietnam. We took a cobra up. He was flying and I was gunner. We were just flying around, trying to find a target (this was our first time playing). I happened to see an enemy jeep. We were going pretty fast but I thought "what the hell" so I fired a couple of rockets and hit him dead center! We spent the rest of the game taking helicopters up. It's awesome flying one of those things, rockets, grenades and machine guns firing, all the while the music is blasting!

oh god... sideways carriers that reminds me...

Midway (or was it iwo jima?):
Can't remember weather it was midway or iwo jima. Its the one where you start with no land bases and both teams have an aircraft carrier.

anyhoo...things were not going so good for my team. We only had one base, plus the carrier.
Well, being the strategic guy I am, I figure out that the main damage is being done by their carrier. All their doing is camping the flag, and letting the airplanes and artillery fire do the rest. It was an awesome sight from the sea, HUGE explosions every 2 or 3 seconds, it was bad though, nobody could land on the island without being blown out of the water.
So now that I have pinpointed what's hurting us the most, I manage to steal the drivers seat in our aircraft carrier.
Now, me and my two friends were talking over a voice chat program. So I formulate a plan...
I say, "Guys, get in the carrier with me. I have an Idea"
"what?"
"Just do it!"
I describe my plan to them and we're on our way. The sight of us put fear in our enemies, and hope in our friends. Sailing at full flank, we rode the pacific, sweeping the sea for their carrier.

one of my friends spots their carrier. "Enemy carrier at three-five-zero bearing three-six-zero"
no he didn't say that but it that's basically it. They were in front of us, heading away from us. We were faster though. I sailed up along side them.

Then we had a true pirate moment. There were 5 or 6 people on our deck, so I got up even closer to their carrier, until we were touching. My friends, and everyone else raided their ship, killing those who got in the way.
While they were overrunning their carrier, I turn to the side a bit, giving about 20 yards in-between carriers. Then, I sound the alarm, and turn full right rudder! We rammed their ship pretty dang hard. Their deck tilted at a 45 degree angle. The Japanese who tried to take off simply slid off the deck into the water.
Then, whoever was driving their boat finally got smart enough to slow down, allowing me to get too far ahead. I lost him completely! So i pull the friggen biggest and slowest 360 degree turn ever. About two minutes later, when my turn is done, I spot him again! This time he's sideways to me.
muhahaha!!
Then I told my friends, “stand on the front of the boat!”
I speed toward their carrier at full flank, riding the waves with my friends on the bow. We felt the wind in our hair, and the light sea mist on our faces as we sped toward their carrier.
Then came the moment of total chaos. We rammed the side of their ship head on, causing them to go almost totally sideways! Meanwhile, the impact caused those on my deck to fly forwards through the air. My friends had it the worst, they flew about 100 feet, smacking their heads on the side of their carrier. Fortunately they didn’t die, and were on their way to one of the landing boats. At the same time, I realized all hope was lost for their planes, as the impact tossed them around like leaves, and then making them fly off the edge into the water.
I was in that position for about 5 minutes. I just kept pushing.
After a while, the ships “tweaked” out. They kinda jumped out of the water a little, it was just a bug.
Maybe just a bug, but my friends in the landing boat they stole somehow got trapped in-between their carrier and me. Then, they got squished so much that they popped out, not sideways, or up, but down. They were now being slowly drowned as they were completely stuck underneath the ship. After a bit, they popped again and somehow got stuck inside their carrier.
All this time, the Japanese were trying to take off. But they failed miserably. Fireball, after fireball fell into the sea as the near vertical deck pushed them off.
Finally, I managed to sink them by backing off a bit, gaining speed, and ramming them once again.
Due to this distraction, the Japanese left the island to come watch the two carriers fight. So my team was smart enough to take all the flags. With no spawning point, the Japanese lost rather quickly.
