why am i so weak???????
 

okay fellas here goes ive spent thousands on my system and i still cant destroy as fast as im destroyed (i know obout aiming too!) i have upgraded too many times with no real difference. i am running an asus p4p 800 with 1 gig of ram 2.4 pentium with the hyper thread and a geforcefx 5600 256m card i got the latest drivers and d x and i also do most of the other things that i read in these forums like shutting down stuff in background , no anti virus and turning or sound acceleration but Im getting F$@#$ tired of my plane getting shot to pieces allmost instantly when i have to unload to drop the same dude any advice would be great!

It's not a hardware problem. You can get killed very easily online. Planes are very vulnerable. Mounted machine guns everywhere and flak (I'm assuming you mean regular Battlefield 1942) Are you getting the hit confirmation on the crosshair? If you're dogfighting remember to aim the crosshair like an inch ahead of the target.

that really isn't a hardware problem, it's more of a user problem. you can't blame your computer for getting shot down by more experienced pilots. try avoiding the bullets maybe? for instance, if you are in a manueverable plane (corsair) being tailed by a fast plane (zero) try pulling up, rolling over to the left or right, then do a loop and you should come out behind him, hopefully leaving him baffled and on fire.

Connection speed, type, et.
Who knows, a split second or two in connection could mean the difference between you and the other guy sometimes.

its the same with the anti tank i know if you hit the back center or the tank it will explode but i have never done it even in empty servers

He isnt being nasty he is just telling the truth. Being a bad player has nothing to do with your computer, you can have a bad computer and still be one of the best players but in your case you have a great computer but you suck !

My computer is not as good as yours and I play with much higher settings! I have an anti-virus program running in the background. I have sometimes little problems in DC but never in BF1492! I think too it is a player problem.

I have to say I have one of the worst compters you can run with BF1942, but Im a great pilot and bomber. Me calling you a noob is true. You must pratice to get good, nothing comes free.

Look dude, just be resourcefull. Take the backroads on the battlfield. If your flying, don't fly strait into the mess. Fly high and around till a window opens up, then take advange of it.

When on the ground think about how the enemy could get a good shot off at you, were could they come from? Then block it! Exploit terrain to ur favor. Use hills, mounds, bushes, blown vehicles etc.etc. Try to move unnoticed.

Don't always be quick to kill, or empty ur clip on the first man you see. Watch 'em, see what he is up to, does he have buddies around that would killu once you opened fire(split sec decesions) the more you work on these tips the better and more efficiant(sp) you'll become. If ur in a tank, try to keep hulldown as much as possible. Don't roll into the open. Use trees/shadows to help keep enemy planes from easly spotting u.

If you have a few teamates near by stay around them(if possible) not right next to them(to the point all of ya get wacked by a tank shell, grenade, bomb) but close enough to were each of you can support another. Mybe 50yards spacing.

Oh yea....you my not get alot of kills but the ones you do get were important ones. Spawn camp kills are hollow killz. Make ur kills count twards winnin the game. Not who got the most killz contest. :rolleyes:

Aim at the very bottom of the back of the tank and it does get destroyed in 1 shot :)

The best piece of advice I can give you is this,
If someone is shooting at you, get out of the way of the bullets.
If no one is shooting at you its because they are adjusting their sights so you better get out of the way of the bullets.

Remember there is more then just the screen in front of you, dont get tunnel vision because it makes it difficult to get out of the way of the bullets.

If your going to play a war game. That should already be known Parakleet.

If you(not u personally parakleet) don't know that you should dodge bullets that are being fired at u, there is a problem with ur logic, skillz, snapps....BRAIN? :uhm:

mabee flyin aint your thing
its not mine thats hwats great bout this game
there can be people with certain skills and they can use thoss skills
just practice, test out teh classes
alot of people bash the medics
but i love them
so just try out diffrent roles
it doesnt seem like a comp prob though
