battlefield cd key location

i formatted but have battlefield installed on a second partition.
i'm trying to reinstall battlefield on my new OS installation,
but i can't seem to find my cd key at the moment.

is the cd key stored anywhere? (not in the registry, that won't help me)
if it is, i'll be able to take it out of the existing file and use it for my new installation..

since you reformatted you'll have to contact EA/Dice with proof of purchase. Or buy the game again.

I'm not asking for info on contacting EA/Dice.

I asked if the CD Key is stored somewhere on the hard drive.

on the back of ur cd key of ur cd Disk duh!!!!!
okay seriously its in a folder that says ereg in ur bf folder..once u get there i think u will have some commn sense.

if he formatted his HD it's gone as all the reg files were all erased.
