Go with Secret weapons and if you really feel itchy save your money and download Desert Combat,Forgotten hope or one of the many fine mods for free.

yeah its kinda sad that the free mods are better then the expansions ;)

But go with secret weapons if you want to buy one...

otherwise, get EoD, FH, and/or DC

i would say secret weapons if u want fun
but road to rome is a good recreation of the battles with the free french armies and the italians

Save your money for now and, download DC first. If you still want one of the the official expansion after trying DC then go for you life. I purchased RtR a few days after it came out, but only played it twice due to lack of local servers and players.

proababerly they are all the same but most people play mods lke dc and "82" etc

Interstate 82 is FUN, but not as cool as DC :nodding:

Could anyone tell me if there are servers with a lot of people for Secret Weapons? I have enjoyed BF1942 for about a year, but now I want to see what SW is like, yet I would only get it if it had a lot of serves WITH people actually playing. From what I had heard it wasn't very popular...

If you want a good expansion, go for secret weapons. There are a lot of servers for sw, a few EAUK (the best) and a lot of other in America, if you use The all seeing eye, you can find 100 sw servers I believe... So it's worth the try:rock:

I say wait a month or so and get Battlefield Vietnam.

Helis!!! With CHAINS!!! That carry stuff! And you can fire hand weapons from them! What more could you want?!

A realistic game like Operation Flashpoint with iron sights, and RPGs that you don't have to practically aim at the sky to hit something ten feet in front of you...

Also, I would like a better physics engine...
