joystick problem

hello,
i have just bought a saitek 3d force feedback joystick. i am having problems programming the controlls in AvP2. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

What kind of problems? We need a little more info that just that.
Oh, and have you tried using the keyboard/mouse combination? IMO it's much better than the joystick.

thanks for replying,
the joystick keeps spinning when i try to move, cant move forward or backward, when i pull the trigger it continually fires untill i am out of ammunition, cant programme the hat switch for the options i wish to use.

using w98se, 191mb ram, pb pulsar600.

i really havnt a clue about computers. i hope you can help.
