Yes it is very time consuming. Consider this, the more time you put into something the better it will be when it comes out. Consider a map, if I build a box level that takes like half an hour maybe but it will take anther hour to detail that box. Do you want box levels? or bases? I exhort all the modders to give the time into their projects because it will come out much better that way. Don't rush.
