Just a question to all the Armada 2 players out there.
Why is it that when people mod ships they arm them to the teeth with phasers/photon torpedoes??
i mean in the star trek universe the ships have many phaser banks, but can only fire from one phaser bank at a time, with full power phasers.
so in order for the game to be realistic each ship should have just 1 phaser weapon.
i understand the torpedo situation as these varied greatly.

maybe in in the older ones but on DS9 how many times did u see a ship just fire one at a time???? so ppl add more so it fires more then one making it look more like a startrek ship most of the time in startrek you were just lookin to knock there weapons off line in armada your looking to destory and kill as many ships as you can why ppl make some super race i dont know its not far and its not fun cause the AI sucks thats why when you mod one race u most mod the other i think.... i dont like an easy win i like the saying "today is a good day to die"

Look at the movie Star Trek Nemesis, the Enterprise fires phasers on several phaser banks at a time

Yeah, look at Voyager in the Later seasons, I even saw Voyager firing 3 phaser beams at a time!! (Well, Voyager had its enhancements during the Delta Quadrant but still...)

aslo like many starships there is more then on bank somtimes only 2 or 3 tubs but voyager i think had 7 in all it had to large ones on top 2 on bottem on on the lower hall and 2 on the bottem by the shuttle bay this is from the show i also have pictures of it not based on any writin data

im sorry nine after looking at these pictures voyager has 9

if i'm not mistaken, Voyager has 2 main banks on top of the bow, 2 main banks below the bow, 2 on each side (above and below) aft of the "saucer" section, the ventral bank, 1 on the underside of each of the "wings" that connect to the nacelles and 2 under the shuttle bay, far aft. that makes 2+2+2+2+1+2+2=13 total phaser banks. i'm pretty sure cuz i had a model of Voyager once.

well if u look at my post i never said he was wrong i just said this is what i was going by and i could have been wrong in counting
