I doubt we'll get an Armada III, but we may get another RTS game, we'll see all in good time though. :)

The problem I see with the Armada series is that i both the Borg are 1 of the main bad guys and the stories to me seemed abit repetetive, I would have liked to see them explore a different time period maybe 23rd century because it gets away from the borg who in my opinion are easy kills once you identify their attack strategy. Another thing I hated was in A2 when the AI Players on instant action launched fleets, they did so all at the same time every 4 or 5 minutes. If there was going to be an A3 or an RTS i would like them to address the issue that I have said because it would make the game far more interesting when the AI players become cunning tacticians rather than idiots who lauch 1 massive fleet that gets chopped to bits in about 30 seconds by the borg, they could at least run patrols, scout the enemy locations and use Hit and Run tactics on larger more powerful opponents. In my most recent game I killed about 400 borg cubes with the loss of 54 ships, most of which were destroyers while my allies lost 1450 ships mostly batteships to kill only 150 cubes(tactical cubes no fusions). You can see why I'm annoyed with A2 now

Ah, hello.

First: Let's calm down. No one wants anyone, ah, dead.

Second: I have a great suggestion for A3 storyline. Talk about a futuristic timeline with Captain Demming as the main character and maybe Admiral Picard?

A political story, involving the president of the UFP and possibly a coup/collapse/assasination to get the story going.

Bureaucracy, wars and overextension of Federation borders leads to disatisfaction with members of the Federation, some consider leaving in the wake of heavy Borg and Dominion aggression and the incurred deaths of their people in these conflicts.

Picard is promoted to Admiral at last (or maybe just retires as captain), with the handing over of the Enterprise (E or F?) to a new captain (Riker or even Worf or maybe someone new). Starfleet appoints Picard to take over as temporary UFP president after the assasination and the story involves restoring order to the Federation. With lack of control/federation enforcement, factionalisation takes hold, permitting the Dominion/Cardassians to begin rebuilding a threatening fleet. While supressing these breakouts, a major threat to the Federation is revealed from within

I'd like to include the race seen in the season 1 TNG episode 'Conspiracy'
http://www.jammersreviews.com/tng-1/...php#conspiracy

Which involved malevolent symbiote creatures infiltrating Starfleets highest positions. The episode was set up for a sequel as the review (see link above) points out, but there never was one. Maybe a whole fleet for this race could be invented for the game?

I'd love to see an Armada 3, I was kind of disappointed when I saw what Legacy turned out to be (Bridge Commander with better graphics but less control and gameplay)
