Do you have what it takes ...

...to be a staff member on the Network ?
Have you ever been looking over your favourite game site and thought that you could really help out ?
If the answer is yes then we would like to hear from you. We are now recruiting staff for all sites and hopefully some new ones.
Some of our sites are fully staffed at the moment but don't let that stop you from applying to join our very friendly team here.
If your preferred site is fully staffed you will still be contacted to see if you could help out on a different site. We will still pass your details on to the site manager for that site just incase they need a extra pair of hands.

So what do we need from you to join us. Well not much really to start with.
First you must be 16 or over and have regular Internet access.
You must have good understanding of English (this is for news items and so on)
You must own the game for the site/s you are applying for, with the ability to run custom content (for testing submitted files)

If your application is accepted then you will also be required to register on our forums and visit the staff section at least once a week as updates and requests are posted there.

To apply simply copy the below template into a email and send it of to network@filefront.com
Make sure you fill out the games section including the ones that we do not have sites for at the moment.

Thanks for reading

Goody
FileFront Network Administrator.

That I do not doubt :) but wouldn't the universe implode or something if you worked for the network ?

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

No, no. The implosion would only occur when I take over.

Some sites are already fully staffed, This doesn't mean that we won't be able to offer you something in the future.
I will be following up on all apps this weekend ;)

Ah, you'll probably do all right. I'd sign up to hover around the SFCIII site, but just not motivated.

Just a quick note for those whom are thinking about applying. It is truly a wonderful experience to give back to a community that has given so much to you. Not only will you be helping push ideas, concepts and the future of the game, but as a respected member you will be looked to for support and direction. Take it from me, if you take these jobs seriously and give them the amount of time required, they will surely provide a you with a plethora of experience and newly learned abilities. The best part is, now matter where you start in the community or at the network you can almost always do more. As silly of a saying it it is "the more you give, the more you get back". Either way, I figured i would drop by and assist any of those on the fence.

I want to apply, but I am a bit confuse.....

Goody. August 8th, 2009 05:11 AM

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

What is so confusing, Create a email based on the template in the first post, fill it in and then send it to network@filefront.com

Forogorn August 8th, 2009 11:37 AM

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

That's what I am confuse about, I am not very knowledgeable about these things, kind of not smart you know...

Goody. August 8th, 2009 12:47 PM

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

It is simple enough and I am sorry to say but if this is confusing to you then you probably do not have what it takes to be staff here, Sorry :(

Goody. August 8th, 2009 02:11 PM

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

Now you have me confused. Are you saying that you do not have a email addrees from which you can send a email to us from ?
Are you also saying you have no idea how to copy and paste the template in the first post in the this thread into said email ?
If you do not have a email account then how have you registered here and on the network ?
To be blunt it is very easy to copy the template and fill it in next to the correct section. It is also incredibly easy to open any email client and add network@filefront.com next to where it say TO.

Which site did you apply for?

Gevok August 17th, 2009 02:34 PM

Re: Do you have what it takes ...

You have to be 16? I've seen websites with 13 year old Site Administrators and do their job perfectly. Weird.
