unable to find splash resources

Hi guys,
whenever i try and open AoM it just says unable to find splash resources, am i missing a file or something, and yes my computer meets the requirements by a mile.

Are you saying you had a warez version of the game? If so that is illegal.

and is there any way to lift the fog of the map without getting 54000 gold?

You found a cracked one? Thats illegal. Im pretty sure you could get banned for telling us that you found a cracked version...

I bought the game but I have the same problem. every time I try to start the game it says "unable to find splash resources". Does anyone know how to fix this?

try reinstalling the game and get some new AOM patches and it should fix your problem.

Are you using a Macintosh computer because the error message seems kinda funny. I think that error means to tell you to make a shortcut on the desktop instead of copying any data from the AOM folder to the desktop.

this is actually a problem with moving your installation folder. it cannot get references from the registry. I have system mechanic 5 which allows me to transfer a program somewhere else so i just use it but otherwise you'll have to reinstall the entire program.
