Editing War of the Ring I want to be able to play the War of the Ring Mod to its fullest using Vachu's Object and Text editor, however I am confused by these instructions by the mad mod maker Martin (sorry couldn't resist): 2. I changed the stats on many of the units for this scenario so if you want to get the full enjoyment out of the scenario, you will need to download Vanchu's object editor to apply the stats to it. Once you have it, simply place the Middle Earth.ofd file in your Microsoft Games Folder (it doesn't need to go into any sub-folders) and apply the settings to the game with the object editor. It's the second part of the last sentence that has me stumped. Is the info I'm supposed to manually change via the editor in .ofd file? If so when I pull up that monstrosity in the Word Pad, it seems vague and incredibly time consuming to follow through on processing all of that information through the editor. Is this really what I'm supposed to do or am I missing something? |
Re: Editing War of the Ring u kno wut i wud do? It's not worth the trouble that comes with Vachu's Object Editor to play that map. Download The battle of helm's deep or sumthing else insted lol thats just wut i say |
