I often decide to add more information to my post, but nobody had replied when I decided to add more info. So I go back and edit it. When I am done editing, usually somebody has posted by that time... Sometimes not.
2 days would be just perfect to me, as most of the times i come back in 24hrs periods. Time will prove whether this change is beneficial or a 'troublemaker'. In the meanwhile, double the security detail, and dig deep in the foxholes

In most of the times, someone (or many ppl) already jumps the post you're about to edit, so chances are little anyone will notice it. So you just make another post, being the latest of the thread, so it surely catches the attention, if it's something more or less important. At least that's the tendency I recognized.
Shouldn't be a problem as long as people don't act cowardly and change their entire post afterwards. If you say something stupid you will probably be quoted either way though...
Once the initial 'zomg look what i can do!>#!#!@#!' part goes away, I think it will be a non issue.

Great adition, and I am enjoying this. Filefront rocks since it was bought back and salvaged from the depths of doom.
Glad you're enjoying the changes. There's even more to come.
