Right now the personal file area is retaining only the files you had uploaded.

For those that are missing files, there are two possiblities for this.

If the file was relatively popular but is still not listed, please give me your filefront.com username and I'll have it investigated.

Otherwise, the files in question may have been removed due to lack of activity.

The login with your own username but showing a different username bug is still happening with me. And its gotta be happening with other people because on one of my other accounts I had some mystery 200 MB file on there that I never uploaded.

This means that to view your files I have to find your link, get directed to the homepage, log in, and then go back and click your link again.
The shared files thing is fixed, you can now view if you are not logged in.

I will investigate the login persistence issue.

We are adding and changing the site daily based on user feedback. I dont know about images mainly because it was pretty heavily abused. Email jeff (n0e) with all your feature requests. As far as design complaints go.. tough titty

Not currently, we are really looking at this more from a purpose perspective, i.e. gaming files being uploads are supposed to be shared. Why do you need to protect them?

I really liked filefront up till this point. And its a very good thing I moved my stuff over to mediafire.com
That sucks.. sorry for the loss of your files, but that has nothing to do with the new design, they were gone before the new site launched.

Also, is FF still using the deletion if not viewed often enough policy they went to to keep the server space under control, and if so, do they still offer warning notices on your file page a week prior to deletion so you can check which ones you don't want deleted? If so, I would prefer getting the warning via email if it's possible.
Email those feature requests to n0e, well tally them up and see what makes sense for the majority of users.
