at least you didn't do a jolt, and completely screw up by getting rid of your logo! they actually got rid of their bolt of lightening in favour of some craptastic site and logo redesign. and did away with their game servers.

Currently the only way to access your own files that I can find is through:

http://www.filefront.com/managefiles.php

The problem here being that all the files seem to be gone, but that no biggy for me - though I can't say I ever got a deletion notification.

Also, most of the service seems to be down at the moment. I searched for a couple of games and every site was blank.

On that note, I also don't understand removing any browsing capability. Sure, custom smart searching uber tech is great, but it's also very limiting. It's like saying: Ill give you a ride anywhere in the world, but I ain't giving you a list of places you can go.

We seem to have lost other functionality, such as for example previewing an image I uploaded - instead of showing up as a picture in a gallery, it's treated like a regular file.

My past criticism of the clarity and contrast on the page remains. I'm assuming the goal here was a sort of sanitary simplicity - but it results in a bit of confusing jumble. The more I traverse through the page, the less I like it to be honest. Currently there are two ways to get to the upload screen - and they're right next to each other. Whether you click the "upload" button or your username, it takes you to the same place.

There just seems to be a general lack of organization. It's difficult to get to places because the site lacks any real form of navigation past the search bar, and often you find multiple ways to get to the same locations - but it's near impossible to get to your files management screen.

All you have to do is click your username to get to your files page. Try recaching the page if the links to upload and your username are the same. They both lead to different places.

You can share your filelist by copy+pasting the "share these files" link at the top right corner of the manage files page

Indeed clearing the cache and restarting the browser seem to have fixed that. The "share these files" link is still buggy. I can only view your files if I'm logged in, otherwise the link directs to the homepage. Due to the lack of any "remember me" function, unless I have logged in during this browser session I get directed to the homepage.

This means that to view your files I have to find your link, get directed to the homepage, log in, and then go back and click your link again.

I can't say I like the new layout much, mainly because I can't figure out how to upload pictures anymore. FF has always been my way of uploading images, but it seems that is no longer an option. Is there any way to upload images, or is it going to be permanently disabled?

I type in demo and it gives me demos of games from three years ago. I don't want that. I want a list of all demos that came out in order by date, not some jumbled up list.

I type in "demo" and I get demo's that were released in the past few days. The top result was a demo released on 6-29-09

I really don't like the new layout. And yes I know, this is late, but my god. All the files I had uploaded are GONE. Only a certain few, witch I think stayed because of them being download. And also, I don't like Ads slowing down my browser.

I really liked filefront up till this point. And its a very good thing I moved my stuff over to mediafire.com

Ah, cool, thanks nOe. My banner is gone though, can we still use our own banners or is that no longer an option? Also, is FF still using the deletion if not viewed often enough policy they went to to keep the server space under control, and if so, do they still offer warning notices on your file page a week prior to deletion so you can check which ones you don't want deleted? If so, I would prefer getting the warning via email if it's possible.
