I have around 2000 mails from Filefront saying that someone posted in The longest thread ever. Havent checked for about a month so i guess that it has increased.

As it turns out, this feature will not be disabled. We will have alternative methods of managing returned emails that will allow us to retain this feature for those that use it.

If you complain about being spammed by it, perhaps you should edit how it's sent in your UserCP?
