Signatures

Ok, I've been getting flamed, spammed, an any other name you can give it, so please forgive me for not being my normal cheerful self when it comes to forum announcements.

I said this in many threads, and apparantly it's not sinking in. I do plan on bringing back images in signatures. However, I will do this only when I find a hack that allows images in signatures to be limited to the specifications I provide.

Don't blame 56k'ers for this action. Blame the fools that thought huge images in signatures was a cool idea. They abused the trust I gave them and because of the way vbulletin has the setting for signatures, I disabled the [img] code for the entire forums.

You may not like this decision.. but seriously, images are nothing more then decoration and should be treated as such. I don't care what other forums allow, they don't have a few hundred users that want to have a big image rather then a worth reading post like this place does.

I dunno about the rest of you, but I come to a forum community to hear what they have to say, how they react, how friendly they are, just basic chit chat with them in the various forums. I don't care about thier sig image that's twice the size of most peoples posts.

Good luck figuring it out! I agree with you, but I have broadband so it never really affected me.
