Anyone else an Initial D fan???

I just really got into it after stumbling on the live action movie recently, so I decided to borrow my friend's copy of the first season. I've finished the first two disks in a day and a half, and I've re-built in Forza MS almost every car in the show so far.

I know about it but havent seen hardly any of it. Sad because Im a car guy too. My friend has it but we cant ever seem to get together long enough to watch it.

I also highly recommend "Wangan Midnight" About a supposedly possessed S30 Fairlady (US 240Z) and the driver trying to defeat a legendary Porche 930 "Blackbird".

I've watched all of stage one (not sure about stage 2) and that's all. Couldn't find the rest I really enjoyed it, though. Live action movie was great, too.

I've seen all seasons (referred to as 'stages' in initial d) from one to four, I've never bothered watching the live action, as I despise most live action in comparison to anime. The first season had horrible animation, but due to the popularity of the show the second season got a higher budget and therefore the animation quality was satisfactory for that season (and the quality of animation just increases with the season number). I never actually read the manga of this one, as I have with most other animes I watch/have watched, so I can't tell for sure if the story has deviated any, or if so how much. Though since season 4 does not seem to be the end of initial d, I reckon I need to seek out the manga.

It's pretty good, sort of a mash up of the story line, but if you ignore that, it's excellent.

Your pics aren't working, try attatching them. I haven't really gone in depth with the decals, for the 86 I just made a bunch of small black lines, and spun them around, and positioned them to look reasonably Japanese. If you really need a source pic, google is your best bet. I mostly just did random decals, and put them in correct positions. I tried to do the performance as accurate to the show as possible, I started with the 86, which in the movie is said to be around 150hp, and the RedSuns Rx7, which in the 1st Stage is said to be 350hp, then I just guestimated all the others. The only downside is that the 86 is only good because of Takumi's skill, so in Forza it sucks.

Hmm I hosted it on imageshack but alright I'll try again. Nah I don't need a source picture - the license plate in the front was hard to do because of the small space I had to work with.
Anyways, hope it works this time.

I'm leaving for a hockey tournament for the weekend, but I'll see what I can do. It's in Forza 1 so I'll have to use a digital camera (not sure how that'l turn out), but I'll try.
