The founders of the Spanish kingdom (Visigoths) and conquerors of Rome! They're one of the most important tribes. What do you mean, "barbarians"? ![]() You take out the Norse cultures, the Frankish lands and the Goths, there isn't any tribe left... Why? They're not that important as a military force actually... The term "woad" is actually an invention of the King Arthur-film. Woads were high warriors who painted their body with blue pigments when going into battle, a social group within the Briton Celts. What you mean are the Scots or the (most likely not Celtic) Picts. Why? You have them covered when you include England and the HRE. Quote:
Adding the Persians wouldn't make much sense either because they were no military force to reckon with in the European Middle Ages. That's the same at the time... Uhm... already in there... ![]() These countries never presented any kind of power on a global stage except for Israel but not because of its power, as you know... Quote:

Also, the Muslim countries were superior in technology in the European Middle Ages. Any Japanese army would have easily kicked a medieval European army's ass simply because (except for England and armies not relying mainly on "chivalric values") they used bow and arrow extensively.

| But only by their use of bow and arrow because I believe their swords would not have been very effective against chain mails. |

| I wouldn't necessarily say so. But I'm not entirely sure, so I would prefer to put this to a test before commenting on it. Either way, this sort of drifts away from the topic. AoE! Woohoo!
